Candidate will ride passenger with a driver in a rear load packer truck.

Candidate will assist the driver with navigating the daily route and write notes and times in the route when needed for documentation and billing purposes.

Candidate is responsible to exit the truck at job sites safely and utilize one of two types of dumping apparatus at the rear of the truck to empty dumpster containers or garbage can toters.  

Candidate will exit and assist at dump facilities to empty the truck of trash, and assist the driver to clean the truck, etc., as needed or when possible.

Candidate must be a team player, work well with others, and be able to successfully interact with all types of customers. 

Candidate may be responsible to handle money and make out receipts for customers.

Candidate is responsible to report to the office:  equipment in need of repair, any damage truck or employee may have caused on any sites, obstructions getting to equipment that need attention and more.

Candidate will be expected to help provide input as to the placement of new customers, or changes that could make routes more efficient.

Normal hours are approximately 6:45 AM to about 3 - 4 PM, Monday through Friday

Please note that we are presently short staffed and the rear load truck is out much longer than normal daily.  This will be necessary until we find a second driver for the second truck.  Please note that hours would hopefully return to full-time of approximately 35+ - 45 hours per week.  Once we have a second packer driver we may also have an opportunity for a second picker, part-time or maybe even full-time.
